First round interview were smooth and enjoyable. We had constructive chat about the company, my experience, and background etc.
The second round interview was an experience summary and a 20 minutes presentation with four managerial position watching and listening. It was a bit overwhelming but it worked out pretty well and department head was going to issue offer once HR assessment, reference check, and criminal background check are done.
Once I spent over 2 hours on HR assessment, reference check came back nice and strong, and clean criminal background check, the HR decided to do a third round interview which involved two different department. Interview is very general such as experience, leadership style, "what would you do if ......" type of questions which are pretty much the same questions from round 1 and 2.
After all the effort and time spent, they decided to cancel the position due to internal reason. Overall interview process was professional and comfortable.
