      I was contacted by a recruiter who had zero details ready when we met, despite them reaching out originally. I had come prepared with questions regarding team structure, salary, growth and more and the recruiter couldn't answer any of the questions... They were also visibly distracted and even mentioned they were checking teams messages which is why they might have been looking all over the screen. It felt rushed and awkward. Unfortunate because it sounds like they're doing interesting work but that was overshadowed.

      Entrevista

      Phone screen was typical, easy process, and quick communications. After the first interview they followed up quickly with great feedback and willingness to move forward. However, they wanted to downgrade the position and the salary to which I said I am not interested. From there I was not given a reply or response back. Felt pretty rude.

      Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for the thoughtful engagement throughout the interview process. We're glad to hear the early stages felt timely and constructive. That said, we're truly sorry to hear that the process didn't end with the same level of clarity or closure. That’s not the experience we aim to deliver, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We'll be reviewing this internally to ensure we hold ourselves accountable to a consistent and respectful candidate experience at every stage. As part of our process, we sometimes recalibrate a role after the initial conversation to ensure alignment with PMG’s internal leveling framework. This step allows us to set up every new team member for success by ensuring they join within a peer group that aligns with their skills and experience. We understand this can be a delicate topic, and we’ll continue to work on communicating these decisions more thoughtfully. Thank you again for considering PMG.
