The interview process was a perfect example of how flexible this company is willing to be for it's employees. They were willing to go above and beyond to accommodate my timeline for the second interview and met me in a city halfway between where I was living at the time and where the job was actually located. The interview itself was more casual than most as a by product and it went very well. We had to do some creative problem solving on the spot in order to take the CAD test and I think it all these factors worked in my favor.

It's about an hour interview. Thirty minute interview and then 30 minute to 2 hour AutoCAD test. The HR person said it would take about 2 weeks to hear anything. She did say in the interview, that they lose a lot of candidates due to their lengthy hiring process, which is kind of a red flag, in my opinion. So I waited 2 weeks and a few days and sent her an email on a Friday. She quickly responded and said they were completing round 1 interviews and would touch base with me on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went, so I emailed Friday and she told me that they were in the middle of an expansion and had halted interviewing, yet they were still posting jobs online. I assumed, at this point, that I was no longer a candidate for the position, but was just hoping she would let me know this. I assumed they were interested from the beginning, because they contacted my references after I took their test. Finally, after 3 months she lets me know they are going to hire entry level CAD Designers. I'm guessing that could have been sent to me in an email in the first two weeks.
