Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Ovenly en abr 2016

      Entrevista

Interview was pleasant- asked about prior work experience, larger goals. Was outlined the salary, role, and dress code. Was told that I had the position, but as a "just in case" to come in for a trial shift, that was supposedly paid. Came in for 8 hour shift and performed a variety of duties. Manager who interviewed me was not in the shop that day. Helped customers, did dishes, handled money, kept store neat, ect. Then was called into the office to fill out paperwork. Was handed a W9, the form for independent contractors, even though the role of Cashier very clearly fit into the confines of an employee. Asked about this, and manager was very dismissive. Asked about upcoming hours and was told to check my email in the future. Waited four days with no email. Called and emailed manager with no response for an additional 4 days. At this point, forget the job, I just needed to get paid for the hours worked. Sent a slew of emails, and finally received a vague emailing outlining that they were "moving forward with other candidates". Felt like a bait and switch. The lack of follow up was unprofessional, and the use of a W9 was definitely questionable. Watch out, I almost feel like this was a scam for free labor on a busy weekend shift.
