When I applied to be a host at outback, I waited a week and called the restaurant. I got in contact with the manager and we scheduled a time to meet for an interview in the next week. I arrived to the interview and waited 45 minutes and was told that I would not be having an interview today. I was called in a week later and offered the job after a few questions.

I was sat in the corner by a server, and told a manager would be right with me. I sat for 25 minutes and no one came to me. I decided to leave, and there was no one even in sight to tell.

The interview process was quick and relatively painless. They asked about my experience in the restaurant industry and how I handle regular and difficult guests. I walked in and they were looking for a host immediately.

It was a pleasant experience. It was a 2 part interview process. The first one was easier than the second. The second one involved trickier questions but if you’re quick witted it’ll be easy.
