      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en OutSystems en nov 2025

      Entrevista

      Recruiter reached out to me saying I was a good fit for the position so I had applied. Heard back fairly quickly about initial screening call. Recruiter was very nice and enthusiastic. A cultural interview with the hiring manager was quickly scheduled about a day after my initial screening. Although it was a cultural interview there was a short, easy technical challenge. I then received a take home challenge which I was given a week to complete but the timeline was flexible if needed. After submitting the take home assessment, an additional interview was scheduled to present my implementation. The engineers who interviewed me were excessively rude and expressive. They would continuously cut me off when I tried to answer their questions and proclaim that my implementation, answers, or opinions were wrong before I could get a chance to fully explain my perspective. The interviewers seemed to lack knowledge in the breadth and scope of the assignment and had unreasonable expectations for the amount of work that they were suggesting I should have done. This was by far the worst interview I have ever gone through. If these engineers are representative of who works at the company, then I dodged a bullet. I hope that this was a freak accident and is not a good representation of the company as a whole.
