I had one Skype interview and one telephone interview. I spoke with many people on Skype and everyone was friendly and generally positive. I was given the opportunity to ask questions. I found they were trying to determine where in the organization I would fit best. I would recommend if in a similar situation that you do your best to remember the names and faces of those who participate in the Skype interview, as (hopefully) you will meet them again. I had this easy process because I applied through another fellowship that had a relationship with the organization. This process is not true for an intern applying directly to the OU.

I practiced a lot before the interview and no questions were unexpected. I was asked standard interview questions.
The interview I had recently was surprisingly straightforward. From the moment it began, I felt at ease and well-prepared for every question they threw my way. The interviewers were congenial, and the atmosphere was relaxed, making the whole process feel more like a casual conversation than a formal assessment. Each question aligned precisely with my experiences and knowledge, allowing me to answer confidently and with conviction. Walking out, I couldn’t help but think how smooth and uncomplicated the entire experience was.
