July 30 - Applied via LinkedIn Aug 14 - received an email from an internal recruiter with an invitation for a screening interview Aug 19 - the screening interview took place...the recruiter said they would be submitting my name to the hiring manager. The recruiter said I should hear back in a few days. Aug 20-25 - I received no follow-up. Aug 26 - I sent a friendly follow-up to the recruiter. Did not receive a response. Sept 3 - I sent another friendly follow-up to the recruiter. Did not receive a response. Today is Sept 12...almost a month has passed since the initial screening interview invitation and still no response from anyone at Orrick. Two external recruiters reached out to me about this very position last week, however they both say my name is "already in Orrick's system". It appears I am in limbo - I was ghosted by the internal recruiter and external recruiters are now unable to submit me to the position.
