Consisted of an interview with senior associate and graduate recruitment. there was also a group exercise and a written task. mixed range of people. some lawyers were very friendly, professional and intelligent. others seemed more informal, and not necessarily in a good way. graduate recruitment were not on top of things. the majority of the firm seemed to be lateral hires, including associates from high street firms.

Good! Everyone was very friendly and the interview was less competency based and more questions about why Orrick and personal examples/details. I did an interview, a written exercise and a presentation about one of Orrick’s sectors.
