Started with a brief 15-20 minute phone call to chat about the application with the hiring manager. About 2.5 weeks later I was invited to a 45-minute follow up interview with two of the scientists. They said the interview went well and I would be hearing back shortly with the next steps but I never heard anything further, only receiving an automated rejection many months later. Overall unprofessional and disappointing experience.
