Submitted an application online and was contacted the next day by the hiring manager. After a brief phone interview, spoke with HR and then was told they wanted to fly me to Chicago to interview face to face. I was flown in a month later, had 8 consecutive interviews and put back on a plane. They made it seem like it was a done deal, but after weeks and two follow ups with HR and the hiring manager I never heard another word about it.
