The process was structured and comprehensive, consisting of multiple rounds conducted over approximately one month before I received the offer letter. Interview Breakdown: HR Screening Round The process began with an initial screening call with an HR representative. The discussion included an overview of Optum, the team structure, and the key responsibilities associated with the role. Technical Round 1 This round focused on assessing my technical expertise in C# (.NET) and SQL. Along with technical questions, the interviewer also evaluated my problem-solving approach through behavioral questions, asking about past experiences in handling specific challenges. Technical Round 2 (Solution Design & DevOps) The second technical round was more architecture and design-oriented, where I was asked to justify the design choices I had made in previous projects. Additionally, there were DevOps-related questions to gauge my understanding of CI/CD, deployment strategies, and infrastructure management. HR Final Round (Compensation & Offer Discussion) The final round was an HR discussion covering salary expectations, benefits, and other formalities before the offer was extended. Overall, the process was well-organized, providing a thorough evaluation of both technical and behavioral competencies. The timeline from the initial screening to the offer letter took about four weeks.

The panelist was very knowledgeable in his domain. The interview went for 1-1.5hrs and the interviewer utilized completely this time to ask questions from all sections of Java full-stack development as i applied for this position.
