The interviewer was impatient, seeming like they were in a hurry to finish work for the day, and completed the interview ten minutes early. Don't know why they want candidate play the trading game while the position is quantitive researcher

First two rounds consisted of playing typical EV games with some capital (dice questions, cards, market making). Followed by take home assignment involving data science/ML. Then meet with researchers at optiver to discuss work.

Given 3 minutes, what would you buy here and how much would you allocate?
Friendly interviewer, intense online assessment. Online assessment covered probability questions on mostly expected values, and stochastic probability. There is a finite deadline to complete it. This is then continued with a behavioural interview if you pass, that can be booked online.
