Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Optiver (Sídney) en may 2019
Entrevista
Four stages after the initial application:
Online coding test (HackerRank).
Behavioural phone interview: questions about your resume and academic transcript.
Technical phone interview: algorithms and data structures, but no actual coding.
Onsite interview: In-depth behavioural, then technical (no coding, but need to describe the algorithms and data structures in detail).
What stood out is they gave feedback after the phone and onsite interviews. And although I didn’t get an offer, the rejection was by phone call and they gave more feedback. This contributes to my rating of “positive”.
As soon as my CV reached them, I had 7 days to complete a HackerRank and 2 more tests. It took them from Monday morning (when I submitted the coding test) to Wednesday evening to reply.

Was a Hacker Rank average but difficult, then a CS questions in multiple choice and finally some kind of minigames.
After I applied, I received an online assessment shortly. It was hacker-rank styled. I had only 2 choices of language - C++ and Java. A bit difficult than average, but doable with a lot of practice.
The original assessments consisted of:
- A coding test (1 hard question) which takes approx. 75 minutes
- A coding knowledge quiz
- Zap-N, a set of short neuro assessment games

The coding test question was very difficult. Required a great understanding of data structures in programming and problem solving
