The interview was fairly simple. Sent in a resume, a recruiter called set up an interview time. I filled out some paperwork,(an actually application, and a background check form) and was brought into an office and had an interview with the manager. He was very friendly, very easy to talk to, spoke a lot about the job, about my past jobs, etc. Didn't ask me questions you see in retail jobs like "Tell me about your worse customer service experience and how did you handle it?" and etc. Got a call from Kaiser when my background check came back, set up an appointment for the drug test. My particular test took a while to get the results back because it was a randomly selected test to be sent out elsewhere to get tested. Took about a week - got a call asking if I was still interested in the job, and if I could start Monday.
My first day has a two hour orientation - and then there is lots of studying of collection laws and tests you have to pass before you can get on the phones. Over all very easy job - just don't be overwhelmed or intimidated by the laws.
