I applied online and reached out to the Founders. I didn't hear anything back after the application aside from a message from Y-Combinator saying the application was received. Neither founder responded and I saw someone else was hired, who was significantly less qualified than myself. Evident that merit and past experience aren't primary considerations in the hiring process at this startup. Unprofessional. Also new branding is really ugly.
