Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó más de 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en OpenSpace (CA) (San Francisco, CA) en oct 2021
Entrevista
Started off great, but ended horribly.
Had an initial call with the recruiter, then immediately spoke with one of the co-founders, which in my experience usually happens towards the end of the process. It was a really good chat though. Then, had an amazing chat with one of the front-end engineers.
Everything went downhill though after this interview. Was given a take-home code challenge, which I completed within two days. The front-end engineer I interviewed with never gave me contact info, like an email address, to submit this code challenge for them to review. I reached out 3 times to my recruiter, no response. Tried reaching out to the front-end engineer by trying to guess their email, still no response. At this point, I think it's pretty clear I have been ghosted by Open Space. Really disappointed as I spent time on the code challenge and it wasn't even reviewed. The least they could do is respond back with an email saying we're not moving forward since I've invested time and effort into their interview process.

Highly unprofessional. I was initially told that the team is being formed for this position and was made to wait for weeks for the next interview round and they never responded properly. Totally a waste of time.

Responded to an ad and got in touch with a 3rd party recruiter.
Did a round of video interviews with one screening bit. The staff front end engineer asked me to center a div within a div using css…
Got a homework assignment in react which basically boiled down to “do you know what is/use a ref”, very basic stuff.
Got an offer the next day, lower than what was discussed and lower than the posted range.
