It was in total about 3 and a half months of waiting with two phone interviews, one in person interview and a "finalist" interview. I loved everyone I spoke with and appreciate the fact that they put a lot of effort into hiring the right people, but wish the communication had been handled better. After each interview they gave me a timeline for when they expected to respond, and each time they went over a week beyond the timeline. At the end, three weeks after my final interview no one ever let me know that I didn't get the job until I reached out and asked. I expected after spending so much time and effort on the process that I would at least get an email saying they had gone another direction.
