I arrived on time for the interview. I was sitting in the conference room for 20 minutes the manager did not show or call in for the interview and the last person on didn't bother to make the interview either. I studied for the interview, watched several youtube videos, pulled together a very impressive portfolio of accomplishments. I went way beyond what was required for the job. I can see where a Jr. level partner manager would be intimidated with my qualifications.
