You either want to be a pilot or you don't. It doesn't matter if you know helicopters or not, you've got to be motivated and passionate to pursue a very challenging career. The process is long. WOFT packet, fed rec, AFAST, Aviation Board then Ft. Rucker. If you've got the stamina to continue all that...you'll make it.
