Smooth as clockwork, Extremely polite bunch of people, Initial response from my Linkedin application was from a lady called Ellie Leek. She was so professional, polite and it was crystal clear she was passionate about representing Octopus Energy. A great start to the process and it made me even more determined to succeed and become a small part of a great team. On to the trade test/intereview. This was very much along the exact same lines as my experience with Ellie. All the onboarding team showed the same passion, enthusiasm and pride in working at Octopus. I was interviewed face to face by 2 young ladies who showed a remarkable understanding of what being a Smart Meter Engineer was all about. I'm gutted that I can't remember their names, but again, what a great example for anyone wanting to work at Octopus. Throughout the interview I was made to feel very much at ease and it was most enjoyable. Many thanks to the 2 young ladies. Job Offer and process. I apologise for sounding like a stuck record but during this process I was yet again blown away by the welcoming feel I received from a lady called Ava Wakefield. She dealt with the final stages of my successful application. This was quite involved with a lot of checks and balances to navigate. Communication was excellent, Ava was the ultimate professional, very competent, polite and yet again a great advert for Octopus Energy. Greg Jackson should be very proud of his entire onboarding team. I can't wait to get started and I feel privileged to be a small piece on the Octopus Jigsaw canvas.

My entire introduction to Octopus has been welcoming and kind hearted throughout, everyone has been so kind from email communication with Ellie Leek and Ruby Eastwood, to my assessment day. The starter pack is so helpful and couldn’t be better. I feel as if I have a good idea of what to expect and even a timeline with the process which I think is such a good idea. Octopus have got it all spot on, it’s really a breathe of fresh air and the more I am seeing the more I can understand why they are rated one of the best companies to work for! I cannot wait to start, and I am already so happy to be apart of the team!
