First I had a one to one telephone interview which consisted of basic questions such as can you tell me a time you have given excellent customer service etc. The second stage was the 'Discovery Day' - this was where a group of people all applying to different areas met online on Google meets. We started with an icebreaker, then moved on to break out rooms where we had to answer some scenario questions and then pitch an idea for either a new product or a new business partnership. After this we then got chance to ask any questions we had to employees who already worked for octopus. Then to finish the day we had a one to one interview - again this was just them asking questions about customer service and giving us - the interviewees - the opportunity to talk about our own experiences and what we can bring to the company. A week later I then recieved a call inviting me to go for a third interview which was much more relaxed and I got to meet the managers i would be working under and again this was a chance to show my experience and skills and explain what I can bring as an employee to this company.
