I unfortunately never got to interview stage due to not hearing from the internal recruiter despite trying to contact them for an update multiple times. To add to this, during my first and only call with this gentleman, he proceeded to tell me that to manage my expectations as they have already offered the role internally and we’re waiting to see if that individual would accept. I don’t believe this role should have been advertised externally before being 100% sure it was still available. I feel as though my time has been completely wasted and now not hearing a word back from the recruiter for an update is completely unprofessional and if I’m being honest I am really disappointed in the company.

I had 4 rounds interviews, 1st interview was with HR, 2nd interview was with the colleague, 3rd interview was with the line manager, 4th interview was with the head of the team
