I completed a Google Meets interview with Mollie from Instant Impact, she was an absolute delight and made me feel so at ease whenever I spoke to her regarding the job. I was then put forward for an Octopus Energy Discovery Day, the Discovery Day took place on Zoom with around 13 other candidates. It started off with an icebreaker where we were put into small groups to debate quirky questions such as 'does pineapple belong on pizza?', this then got everyone talking and feeling a bit more relaxed which was really fun. In every step of the day you were interviewed by a different member of the Octopus team, the whole day was extremely well organised and was kept light hearted throughout. All the Octopus team members were so helpful and answered any questions we had in a lot of detail. Overall, the discovery day lasted around 3 hours with a comfort break in-between, the day itself was ran very smooth and efficiently. Lastly, I was invited to a final call which was scheduled for the following Monday. At the the end of this call, I received the job offer for an Energy Specialist at the Octopus Energy Leicester office which I accepted. I absolutely cannot wait to start and I throughly enjoyed the interview process as I felt fully supported and welcomed throughout.
