I actually was contact twice. The first interview was for a position I had applied for, and got to the final round and was not chosen (which is perfectly fine). They kept my interview on file for the future, and about 3 weeks later, I was contacted for a new position that came up that they thought I would be good for, and interviewed with the new manager for that position. Thought it went great and was told I should receive follow up by the end of the week. I sent a thank you letter after not hearing an update and then sent a follow up after not hearing back to the thank you letter. I did not get a response from either people until 2 weeks later after asking them to remove my information from their systems. The lack of decency is disgusting with this generation of interviewing and hiring processes. In this instance, I did not need to be rejected twice, especially ghosted.
