I applied via the company's website after seeing the job posted on LinkedIn. I received an almost immediate response, which was a request to have an initial phone screening via Teams with the Senior Talent Acquisition & Resourcing Manager. Everything, I thought went well. However, after sending a follow-up email about the progression of my candidacy (almost 1 week later), I was told that they decided to offer the position to someone within the company. This is exactly what happened to me four years prior. One would think that the company would offer the position to their internal employees first before opening up externally.
