The interview process was extremely inefficient. After applying, you get a phone call from HR where you introduce yourself and they explain the company, position, and ask some basic questions. An e-mail is then sent to schedule an in-person interview with three managers and an HR rep. The HR rep leads the interview by basically repeating the phone interview and asks if you have any questions. Each manager then asks a question each. The questions are the most generic interview questions and it seems like they're asked just for the sake of their presence there. You're then sent another e-mail to schedule the 2nd in-person interview which is the same interview AGAIN with other upper management. Note that each step occurs a week apart making the entire process last around a month long. Huge waste of time for a generic interview!!
OEC Group values your feedback. We have recently updated our interview process to make a more unique experience. Since we have different departments and managers meeting our candidates, we sometimes have to ask similar questions to verify previous conversations that candidates had with our management.

Applied online and was contacted to schedule a phone interview the same day over email.
Interview was pretty standard but the recruiter was pretty shady and used the bait & switch method. He interviewed me for the import coordinator position but multiple times during the interview the recruiter told me that he “felt” I would be a better fit for their sales team (which they are having trouble filling). Towards the end he brought up sales again and told me he could put me in front of the hiring manager the next day if I was open to sales.
I expressed that I didn’t have an interest in sales and was looking to Interview for the import coordinator positions. After that the recruiter abruptly ended the interview and ghosted me.
Very unprofessional. I understand recruiters have quotas to meet but you should respect the time and wishes of your applicants.

It was a phone interview at first then I met the manager in the office. They were really nice and kind. The interview was very casual and they comfort me.
