Spoke with a recruiter, then spoke with the hiring manager. Both steps went very well. Then, I spoke with the next level. The job was posted as a remote job and this was affirmed in the previous stages. The higher-up I spoke to started talking about the role being on-site in the middle of no where. They were aloof, completely unprepared, and an disorganized mess compared to everyone else I spoke with. Red flag. Avoided a bad situation.
