The interview process was smooth. Very little time between each communication from the recruiter. The first two interviews were informal: each interviewer allowed me to ask questions about the company, the role, etc. for the entirety of each 30 minute call. This was very unorthodox in my experience, but a welcome change of pace.
After the first two interviews, you are given 5 business days to prepare a case study with several data files and a business question to answer. I understand the reasoning behind a case study, but the amount of effort required on top of your 9-5 is overwhelming.
I felt the presentation went ok, but I received a rejection notice the next day. The hiring manager actually followed up with feedback - which is beyond what I expected - but much of it contradicted instructions for the case study. For instance, one instruction was "do not do a full blown analysis, only show one or two examples" and feedback was, after including one or two examples, "we felt you could've included more data." Very frustrating. I almost wish I didn't receive the feedback.

What is your process when tackling a business question? (this was asked during the case study presentation, as virtually no questions were asked during the first two interviews)
Have to do a presentation for the final stage. Took a few hours to prepare and another two hours to present and interview on. Not too difficult but very time consuming.

The interview process was pretty lengthy, they have you move onto phone interviews w/different levels of people. If you make it far enough in the process, they will give you a case study where you're asked to solve a problem and present back to key interviewers. I went through all stages, presented, and then was ghosted - never heard back from them. It's unfortunate that you'd have someone go through 5-6 rounds of interviews, they can at least send a form email that someone didn't make the cut rather than leave people hanging.
