One have to walk in with the latest resume and the HR Recruitment will take you through the interview process, wherein you need to transcribe files, edit, and proofread as necessary. After the production assessment test, if you get selected, you will be taken through the HR round, where you can discuss your salary details, your designation, etc.

All applications are done online. A large portion of that application process is submitting to a transcription test where you will listen to their audio file and prepare the final physician's note. I'm assuming they monitor the amount of time it takes to complete the test because you have to be able to move quickly through these reports, both for them and you. You are paid by the line so the more reports you are able to complete in a day, the higher your pay. Once your test is reviewed for accuracy, you will go through a phone interview to discuss what type of experience you have, ie hospital acute care, clinic, radiology, etc.

Over the phone since this is a remote position. Very easy. Process began with an online application followed by an online test which was open book and relatively easy. After this the interview by phone.

Acquired by them so no interview was conducted, just new employee onboarding. We just had to fill out paperwork and send back. It is clear, though, that they do not value their medical transcriptionists and our benefits were not nearly as good as they were at the company before it was acquired by Nuance.
