The recruiter that found my resume on indeed is very talented. She reached out to offer me a job. I called and set up an interview the following day. The next interview was in-person and there were a few more steps after that.

You'd hope that an insurance brokerage would be legitimate in their hiring. This one requires you to give them a list of warm contacts to sell to, aka, your friends and family. I cancelled my interview with them once I realized that my business book and personal contacts were going to be the exact same with this company.

Super basic interview questions, run of the mill kind of stuff. Because they're gonna hire you. Because you're 100% commission, and you're expected to work your "personal network". Why not just work at an MLM?
