Initial typing test and a basic test to determine your understanding of english and some basic math. Then if successful move on to a video test to test your ability of using common sense to some police scenarios, no police/fire expertise needed, just based on what you think logically. If successful then move to oral interview, sit along with a dispatcher for 4 hours and then they will select appropriate candidates and offer a conditional offer of employment. Then the candidate must pass psych eval, medical eval including drug and hearing screening, and if successful will be offered the position.
