Horrific and be-littling. There were no interview questions or structure and resembled an interrogation! The hiring manager kept repeating himself, kept asking me to drill down to the miniscule details e.g. what questions were asked within the surveys I did over 5 years ago. He didn't believe that I had written training materials, or had any L&D experience as I have basically "sat back and done basic admin since 2007". In his 40 years experience he has never known of L&D writing training strategies?!? Continued to dismiss virtually everything I said, then proceeded to go through my CV line by line..... The final straw was asking about my greatest achievement.. be-littled my answer, asked me to explain. I paused, stated that I had already told him. He asked if he had offended me... I said that it wasn't the right role for me and I ended it!
