I applied online and got a reply email a day after in which you answer some scenario questions (4 questions that had to be answered in 25 min-- no big deal, they're pretty easy) and upload a 1 minute video of yourself telling them why you'd be a good health coach. I submitted and the day after, got another email asking for a Zoom call and mock coaching interview and scheduled it for the day after that. Once submitting your time slot, you're supposed to receive a follow up email from your interviewer explaining the mock situation and instructions to the Zoom call. My call was scheduled for 10 am on Friday morning-- I had nothing in my email as of 6 am that same Friday, so I email the Talent team(which I'm assuming is the equivalent of HR) by around 6:45 MST ( They're headquartered in NY so it was 8:45 EST). I hear nothing back so I email again a couple hours later, and hear nothing back. I dig through google and find the only phone number I can for them and call about an hour before my interview is supposed to start and leave a message because everything is automated. 10 minutes before my interview is supposed to start, I get an email with a ton of information (it would've been nice to prepare the day before) and I get the link to the Zoom call. around 9:55, my interviewer comes on and says "Hi. So sorry for the late email! I don't know how I didn't see this on my calendar for today. Do you have any questions?" and I answer with "No worries, and not many questions so far" (assuming she'd ask things about me. This is an interview after all, right?) She replies with "Okay. See you in a few minutes for the mock coaching" and signs off. What? I thought we were supposed to get 10 minutes of interview time. I was lucky to have gotten 40 seconds. Cool. The mock coaching is really unrealistic. Let's be real. If someone signs up for an app to lose weight, they're going to want to at least TRY and make some changes. The "client" was super stubborn and didn't want to make changes to her life, at all. I get it though. They're preparing you for the worst case scenario. Here's the best part. The prompts are copy and pasted. My interviewer copy and pasted the same prompt twice without realizing that she'd already responded with said prompt a few responses prior. I had to message her via Google Docs and ask if she'd meant to paste a duplicate answer and she goes "Sorry!". Real professional. Do I think I could have done better? Sure. Everyone can always improve. Do I think that I was judged fairly and was given a fair interview? No, not at all. I got my "We've decided to move forward with a different candidate" email this morning. They also have a disclaimer that they won't be responding to any feedback, so I thought I'd come on here to let my fellow interviewees know what I'd been through :) Happy job hunting! hope this helps.
