I met with everyone in the creative department in person. I also conducted multiple phone interviews. After all of this, when things seemed to be going very well, there were some personnel changes in the leadership of the Creative Team. The new Creative Pastor told me that there would be no decisions made until after the new year. Imagine how surprised I was when they announced the new hire the next week! Turns out that person didn't even last a year in the position. It was very disappointing to have a personal relationship with many of the interviewers and get lied to about when a decision would be made and never even told, personally, that they were going to hire someone else. I just had to find out when that person was introduced as the production director.
