The interview rounds went well however when the HR rep asked for my documents to verify my details she also asked for my previous companies offer letter and appraisal letters (which as far as I know is confidential information). She later asked me to verify whether or not I was in fact paid by Accenture ( Mind you I already gave her my relieving letter and paystubs)
After pressing further she said we need to get your salary structure to base the new offer on. I definitely felt that they were trying to lowball me.
The interviewer also mentioned you need to sign a letter of intent which we cannot disclose until you join the company because you are from a different state, we have stability concerns.
I withdrew my candidacy immediately for this position, due to the ambiguity around committing to two years of my career when not being made aware of the terms of said commitment, as well as being asked to share confidential documents from prior employment. Being asked for things that cause me ethical concerns is a non-starter for me as a professional, and I wish them luck in your continued search for the right candidate.
