Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Newark Electronics (Richfield, OH) en jun 2016
Entrevista
Contacted within two days of submitting my resume with a request for a phone interview. Received a call the next day, one hour after the scheduled interview appointment and discussed my previous experience. Was asked to meet with the hiring manager which was scheduled two weeks later. The meeting was one hour of a company presentation followed by a "group project" consisting of two people, having 10 minutes to prepare and present. Four candidates attended and four managers interviewed, each interviewing one candidate. I was given a script to learn of a make believe product, again in 10 minutes, then taking a sales call from the manager assigned to me, pretending to be a client. I was told that after this three hour event, the manager's would sit down to discuss the best candidate. Not sure how this is determined to be effective when each manager interviews only one candidate. I received a generic decline email the next day from Farnell, not from the person I had been corresponding with, signed "HR" and it thanked me for submitting my resume. This is not a professional way of communication after having two interviews. I'm not sure if they hired any of the other three but the job was re-posted the following week.

Was interviewed by the Branch Manager in their office. Office consisted of a large room with 9 other Sales Representative's whose desks were back to back with no partitioning between them. The entire interview was open for all to hear. As a result it was somewhat distracting. It did force me to focus a bit more than normal.
