Entrevista para Client Services Director / Quality Manager

      Solicitud

Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en NewSouth Technologies (Raleigh, NC) en jun 2013

      Entrevista

This guy works out of his house. Initially contacted and courted by company owner regarding an out of state position. Was explained that a contract was "in the works" over several phone conversations and required to answer general questions about work history and capabilities. After being badgered about "moving quickly" on "potential contract" (usually all contact was made after normal business hours on a Saturday morning), I was told to give two weeks notice on my current job, and prepare to move out of state (NC) in less than two weeks. I was asked for a social security number, DL number, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts via email. Anyone who works in research knows a release of information form is par for the course when doing background checks. Anything else is illegal. Upon submitting the request for an actual application, release, and pay information (I would be moving from MI to NC without knowing what I would be paid), I was told I was dropped from the "potential project" and I then requested they destroy my personal information, since everything seemed unprofessional and fishy. It's weird and makes no sense.

NewSouth indeed interviewed this candidate, and the candidate passed the initial interviews. Our company was awaiting final word that the contract was signed, and once signed, we were required to start the job within 2 weeks, so that is why we asked if the candidate was prepared to move that quickly. It was a prerequisite to getting the job. Passing a background check was also a requirement since the candidate would be dealing with sensitive student information, so that is why we asked for the personal information. We run background checks all of our staff before hiring them. We continued recruiting throughout the process and found a local candidate with stronger teaching qualifications and a masters degree in instructional technology, and we hired that candidate, who is still in the job today. We regret that this candidate had a negative experience with our interview process. We never made an offer to this candidate.
