      Entrevista

      The most unprofessional interview I’ve been. Applied through referral; got an email from the recruiter about a week later to discuss about the role. She sounded like she was just reading back the JD back to me. She mentioned she’ll pass it on later to manager and that I should hear back in a day or two. I didn’t hear back, so I followed up about a week after and got no response. I thought they moved on. 3 week later the recruiter sent a message thanking me for call and I should submit my availability to speak to the manager, just like that - no apology. I gave my availability and was scheduled to speak with the manager 2 days after. The manager turned out to be worse. She literally came unprepared. To start she pull my resume and was reading, thinking of questions to ask. Asking points on resume, and when I explained task I’ve done and tech stack I use, she literally argue that a particular tool was used for what I mentioned in my resume. She couldn’t even talk about the tools they use in their team. An interview that’s supposed to be 45 mins lasted less than 30 because she came very unprepared and couldn’t think of any more questions to ask. I got a rejection email from the recruiter two days after, I was like I’m not even interested in working for a team led by such manager.

      First initial phone screening on google meet with video. The recruiter missed the first call and I was waiting for 15minutes into my lunch break. I emailed the recruiter, they seemed sorry and then we rescheduled. Phone screening was as aspected, tell me about yourself, why NYT, logistics, etc.
