Took a very, very long time. HR was ineffective (would promise to reply by a certain date, then nothing - had to follow up multiple times). Spoke to HR, then came back and spoke to team I'd work with, THEN on the phone with another person, THEN newly hired manager (who was/still is clueless). Had another offer I had to put off (which put me in a very uncomfortable position) because NEQCA kept "promising" to get back to me and then would add yet another hoop to jump through. Funny.. while all this was going on, I read that they were awful at this so I was patient as I didn't want to take the other role (it was in Boston). My experience proved it to be ta harbinger of things to come. Once I got there, I realized I should have RUN in the other direction! I managed to stick it out for 2 years (couldn't job hop so once I was there, I was there). Should have taken the job at Commonwealth Care Alliance instead (much more cutting edge company, much larger, has their "stuff" together and pays more!).
