A direct f2f interview was scheduled after email/tele exchanges with HR. Interview date 1st Oct 2018 morning. Interview lasted few minutes and I decided to politely stop interview rather than further waste time both sides of table. The gentleman-business owner wanted me to make a business expansion plan and wasn't ready to discuss rightaway on the whiteboard. Sad I spent time in preparing for it given that it was a f2f. I have known such tactics of free collaterals with other startups as well hence his words had already sounded the alarm and most of what he said about judging a candidate and procedure were actually BS... Asked if he is willing to pay for the collateral to be made... No... Discuss business on whiteboard?... No.. What's his vision for this business? Gentleman avoided the answer... Saying it would be discussed basis collateral I make... This made it Very clear there and then that this is not a good environment to be in... He just wasted his time and mine... Very unfortunate when people take others for granted and waste their time...
