I first saw the job posting on an IT Slack channel. 20-25hrs a week at 60/hr, OF COURSE I’ll apply!
The interview process started off really well. 5 minute phone call, the individual on the other end was cool and had personality.
2nd interview: Met with the individual from the phone interview at a coffee house. Very informal (no complaints here), very fun and he asked great questions that I was able to learn from.
3rd/Final interview: video chat with the CEO and CTO. Seem to be some ok guys. Nothing special. Honestly they’re types were very cliche.
Follow up: 3 days later, after a follow up email, I hear nothing. “Ok, maybe they’re still interviewing. Email them again tomorrow.” I send another follow up email. Nothing. I send another follow up email. Nothing. I send a final follow up email. Nothing.
I understand you went in a different direction. However, at least the decency to inform your candidates. You’re an MSP, not the C.I.A and even at that, the C.I.A replies to emails.
