The selection process was fast-paced but felt somewhat drawn out. I went through five interviews: HR, Hiring Manager, Hiring Manager + Pre-Sales, VP, and Associate Directors. Overall, the interviews were well-conducted, with thoughtful questions and a solid approach from the interviewers. However, I found HR support throughout the process to be limited.
I wasn't given any guidance on how to prepare for each stage or what to expect, and the process lacked clarity. At one point, I was told I had completed all the steps, only to be informed later that there was one more interview. I was also told that this final conversation would not impact the decision — yet afterward, I was told the final choice was between me and another candidate, which was confusing and inconsistent.
In the end, I wasn’t selected, with the feedback being that I didn’t provide enough examples. However, during the interviews, I was never specifically asked for detailed examples. I was also told the previous person in the role didn’t succeed due to being too junior, but then I was considered too senior — this contradiction added to the overall lack of alignment in the process.
It’s a company with strong professionals, but the recruitment experience could benefit from clearer communication, more structured guidance, and consistency in expectations.
