The selection process started with a pre-placement talk. I had applied from the college placement cell. The aptitude exam had a good mixture of technical, logical and quants. The time limit was 60 mins. 60 people were shortlisted for next interview round out of 600. I was then called for the interview. There were four panels who took the interview on a one-on-one basis. The interviewer started by asking me a basic introduction question. I answered it pretty well and told her that my area of interest was data structures and operating systems. Then the questions were diverted into deep operating systems concepts. I was asked about paging, segmentation, virtual memory, physical memory and the link between them, Basic interfaces between the software and hardware part. Then I was asked about my data security project. The panel asked me to write down the implementation code for my project in short. Then she gave me a problem statement to solve. It was based on linked list and queue concepts.
