Pretty infuriating interview process here. Phone technical interview, then an on-site, then ANOTHER technical take home question, the latter of which the recruiter lied and said was a "normal part of the interview process", but actually was not. After that, 2 weeks of waiting for the hiring committee to decide. Then an answer from the hiring committee -- "we won't be moving forward". I felt I at least deserved feedback after a month long grueling process, but they refused to give any. The valley is competitive enough to ignore Google altogether, so don't jump through their hoops. And I certainly won't be applying to Google in the future.
