I met with the hiring manager and sales manager and was offered a job on the spot. I told them what I needed to make and that I would need some help relocating. They acted like that wasn’t a problem. Once I got the official offer it was essentially a pay cut and they wouldn’t offer a dime to relocate me and my family so I declined. It was unprofessional and they acted offended that I asked for a relocation package. This is usually a standard for an experienced employee with a successful track record.
