Nothing personal but Rudimentary and rubbish are the perfect words I can use to describe for this interview. HR, 2 team members and one observer(did not understand the presence) was taking an online interview on Webex. If you want to take a technical interview arrange for a proper platform for coding where interviewee can write code, also invite someone competent programmer or a dev to review answers. What happened during the interview:-I have 10+ years of automation experience, the 2 members interviewing asked primitive technical questions that will not give any idea about my experience or skills and what I can offer to the company. During Webex interview I was sitting alone in my room facing camera.The interviewer shared his IDE screen and asked me to dictate the answer and he did type my dictations in his IDE. Fine I did it and answered the questions with respect and patience. During this time someone pressed thumbs up and I could see thumbs up icon appeared on screen for a moment. I ignore it and continued speaking, after 30 mins the interviewers had no clue what to ask next may be they did not prepared I am not sure. HR then asked me if I had any further questions so I asked a couple. Interview was done after an hour or so I called the recruiter, to my surprise he told me that the team thinks someone was helping me during the interview because they see a thumbs up on screen. What the world? Now it is common sense that in a video call you will see the window of a shared screen. The HR/team member or whoever made that accusation against an interviewee who you invited for an interview should at least have a courtesy to verify if the accusation they are making is even valid one. Here is my judgement based on this interview experience and observation. It is one of those testing team who enjoy sneaking through the cracks and collect checks at the end of the month. If you want to be part of that type of culture this team is heaven for you. Note for the company executives if they are reading this I would say watch who you are paying to. I would never condemn, write a bad review, demean any one, but if someone making baseless allegation that is not even technically possible, it compelled me to write the honest review which I am not happy to do.
