After a phone screening I had an introductionary interview with the group lead in which he insisted on talking on how much production issues the company has, which led me to form a negative overlook on the position. I gave it another chance and continued to a technical interview in which I was given a task to implement a message broker class in Java. The interview was great but at the end the interviewer described the position as one that will be busy with refactoring old code. Afterwards the recruiter called and told me I passed but I decided to not continue due to the impressions I got from both interviewers
