      Entrevista

The interview process is extensive and took 3 weeks from intro call. However the recruiters were quick with feedback if you moved on to the next round or not (maximum 2 days) which was nice. 1. Initial HR intro interview. 2. Code assignment 3. Smaller tech interview with two developers. I got to explain a small part of my code, then I got a code snippet from their code that I had to walk them through and explain what it did. 4. In depth technical interview with the CTO. 5. My process ended after the technical interview, but the next step would be an interview with the product manager.

      Entrevista

Went through three stages: an initial HR interview, a coding assignment and finally a team interview. I was told the final interview would be focused on the assignment and consist of a walkthrough. I prepared accordingly, but no detailed questions were asked about it. I did a full walkthrough on my own and the team also asked technical and behavioral questions that weren’t entirely related to the assignment. The role was advertised as a frontend position, but during the interview they casually mentioned that there might be some backend work here and there. Not exactly fullstack, but still it felt a bit off given how the role was framed. In the end I was rejected with personal feedback that felt disconnected from the actual interview. It was especially disappointing to be labeled as something that simply doesn't reflect who I am. Being misjudged in that way, without real dialogue or clarity, was honestly the most frustrating part of the process. I seriously don’t like what this industry has become, either you somehow go above and beyond unclear expectations or you’re out, often based on inaccurate reasoning. I did exactly what was asked of me and they even told me that my solution was impressive. I honestly don’t even know what they’re looking for anymore. They treat you more like a resource than a real person and getting that kind of vibe from this company too was honestly kind of disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your interview experience didn’t fully meet your expectations. We truly value the effort candidates put into our process and your reflections help us continuously improve. Our goal throughout the interview stages is to create a thoughtful and respectful environment where candidates can showcase their skills, while also getting a well-rounded sense of the role and team. In this case, the final interview was intended to include a walkthrough of your assignment, along with space for broader technical and behavioural discussion. We understand that this may have felt different from the focus you were anticipating. Regarding the scope of the role, it is and remains primarily frontend-focused. Occasionally, our teams collaborate across disciplines and our mention of possible backend involvement was intended to provide a transparent view into the real working dynamics—not to redefine the position. We recognize how this could have felt unexpected and will continue to refine how we communicate this balance going forward. We also regret that our feedback felt disconnected. Our intention was never to be impersonal or unclear. We do our best to provide constructive feedback rooted in alignment with role-specific requirements and team needs. We are sorry that this did not come across as intended in your case. Above all, we want every candidate to feel respected, valued and heard. We are grateful you shared your experience and insights. This kind of feedback helps us grow and do better. We wish you all the best in your continued journey and truly hope to see your application again should another opportunity be a closer match. —The Natural Cycles team
