The phone screening was simple and the operational interview was mostly about the interviewer telling me about the position in fairly vague terms. It was a little dramatic. I think he was more interested in my reactions, maybe to see if I had the right level of interest or the right demeanor. He followed with a few cliché interview questions that he had to ask, but didn’t sound too interested in. Even still, it was not unpleasant. From interview to start date was one year.

Interview process was with a team hiring manager. They asked some basic and some harder technical questions. After that they offered a conditional job offer and flew me out to MD to the polygraph test and psychological assessment, which is standard. Poly was straight forward and the person was very nice and personable. The psychologist I got was horrible. I had to keep correcting her during the assessment questions and she seemed half listening and only paid more attention if you had something negative to say in a question. After that she requested medical records and the forms she gave had different questions and timeframe than what she asked. Called every week for a month and half trying to get a hold of a psychologist to clarify things, but never got one. Their department's secretary kept promising call backs and when I told them I still haven't received any even though they promise, they would get a bit aggressive at me. Passed everything except physiological questions and was told to write a letter to employee relations for a reason why and to appeal, you'll never get a response. It's a dead end and no one will give you any more help and say they only respond if you write a letter. Took about 5 months due to horrible staff at psychology department.
